Our Founders

Senior Life Solutions was founded by local residents, Sandra and Tracy Tinkle, who were motivated to start the business after having been in a situation all too familiar to many. Both working, yet needing to find care for a loved one and wanting to do the best they could for their aging parents.

Sandra is CEO and President of Senior Life Solutions. Her role is to ensure the delivery of quality services to our senior community and their families. She oversees the day to day operations of the business.  Tapping into her leadership background in management and technology, Sandra’s focus is to insure efficient operational processes, responsiveness to the changing needs of her clients, and applying state of the art technology solutions that improve quality of life, increase safety and communication, and provide peace of mind to families.

Tracy, an accomplished Human Resources executive, is Vice President of Senior Life Solutions. Tracy understands that in order to deliver exceptional service, you need exceptional employees.   Tracy’s role is to ensure that Senior Life Solutions applies best practices to attract and retain top talent. He provides oversight of employee benefits and training programs as well as corporate compliance to all state and federal laws.

Making a Difference

Tracy and Sandra were motivated to start this company because of their own experiences and desire to help others.

Sandra understands first-hand the challenges families face when caring for a loved-one. Her mother, in the last years of her life, suffered from a chronic condition, requiring round-the-clock care. Although her mother received weekly visits from a home health nurse, she still needed help with household chores, cooking, transportation to and from her medical appointments, and the basic tasks of daily living. Because Sandra lived 700 miles away, these tasks fell on the shoulders of her father. He became her sole caretaker and worked tirelessly to provide constant care. There were many times he just needed a break. It wasn’t until after her mother’s passing that Sandra realized the toll being the primary caregiver took on her father.

Tracy, a Navy veteran with a passion for helping veterans and their families, recently lost his father to esophageal cancer. When his father was diagnosed with cancer in 2015, his family faced the same challenges many families face today when caring for a loved one. Although his brother and sister lived in the same area, it was difficult for Tracy to assist with his father’s care and communicate with his medical team. As his condition worsened, the family realized the absence of a caregiver and patient advocate was extremely challenging.

It’s from these experiences that they decided there needed to be a better way.  All of Senior Life Solutions’ values, people, and methods stem from the commitment to provide a joyful and fulfilling life for clients, while providing peace of mind for their families.
